LONDON CREATIVE COMPETITION AWARDS TROPHY DESIGNED BY VOID
Void an architectural firm in Los Angles has designed London Creative Competition trophy this year.
Each Finalist will receive a segment of the LICC Awards slate. When each portion is fit together, it will form a completed piece of art work.
Annually, the LICC advisory board, will commission an artist to design a unique form, cut from a 30"x40" section of acrylic, metal or wood. This will fit, like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle, into what will eventually become the LICC 2009 art work and the pieces will be the LICC 2009 trophy.
Fifteen winning artists will receive one piece of this material, mounted on a base, and these sections will be used to become an historical part of LICC Awards.
On the 10th anniversary of LICC, all these artist along with their trophy designs, will gather together and present their concepts of the trophy. At that time, these piece will be united, combined, and put on display.
We hope each artist employs their own unique method to modify these pieces, so when these separate trophies are placed together, they will embody masterpiece of collaboration. We hope throughout the years these Trophies will be exhibited at museum and galleries and become highly collectible.
