Entry Description:

North Sea brooches (series) silver - ceramics average size 6 x 5 x 3 cm Sea organisms in the greys, blueish greys and greens of the North Sea. Many small separately poured and individually
glazed vases, which have been fused together in a third firing to resemble colonies of animal or vegetable life in our moderate region's sea. The fusing together of work during the glaze
firing is what every potter tries to avoid. In this series of small wearable 3-D objects, techniques from the potters world and the glass field are combined innovatively to fuse the elements on
purpose in a controlled way.
