statement:
I'm intrigued with combining different materials: oil, acrylic, pigments, but also various varnishes, bitumen on different supports: canvas, texture papers, wood. I succeed to transform the surface in many layers infinite space where physical presences appear in the mid air.
"The red room" is from the series "Rooms". The room like a space of dialogue or meditation. Minimize essential and especially emptied of human presence, the room is fill with emotional tense and inert bodies of the objects that seem to draw life energy and suspended entities in a dense space. Acrylic and bitumen to knead and shape a rarefied world that looks on the surface of the painting, always on the borderline between the appearance and disappearance.
