unframed 24 x 30 I look under the microscope at what could be considered ugly and through symbolism I capture the beauty, elegance and power in the detail of this creature as it lies dead. I show how its form can be exposed to be fascinating. Despite being repulsed by a decaying form, with an artistic eye we are able to see the beauty, delicacy, fragility and preciousness of life in its detail.
