"The Absent Spaces", Digital prints, 40x40cm, work in progress. The Absent Spaces don't exist in reality. They can only become real in the world of imagination. They are places, where you can meet yourself yourself alone in the present moment. The Absent Spaces are about finding your own space in life and retrieving the primeval intuitive bond with nature. They also show a feminine, intimate mirror of the world. The body is a kind of carrier of history, past experiences, a link to the physical world. Water personified with femininity, is the universal symbol of life, rebirth and purification. It is also the medium making it easier to pass from one world to another.
